Up for sale is a brand new vintage relic ash T style body from MJT guitars with a set of Jonesy?s Blues Hand Wound Black Guard 1950B pickups, Callaham hardware and electronics including Orange drop cap and genuine Black fiber board Bakelite lacquered 1 ply pick guard, wired to go with vintage spec 22g cloth wire and finished in a gorgeous all nitro butterscotch finish.

The body is fitted with a Callaham T Hardware kit which features all steel treated bridge, enhanced compensated brass vintage saddles, Callaham Pre wired T model control plate assembly featuring modern 3 way wiring, early 50?s vintage correct tip switch, heavy knurled vintage correct dome style knobs, CTS solid shaft 250k brass pots, Genuine Bake Lite lacquered single ply black guard with 5? ?ring?, strap buttons, steel ferrules, neck plate with 4 stainless steel screws and a cryogenically treated input jack.
About the Pick Ups: (From Jonseyblues web site)
Jonesyblues Model 1950B & 1952T pickups are designed after the ones used in the early Black guard B casters and T casters from 1950-1954
Bobbins and flat work are also lacquer coated before winding, and neck pickups are potted with lacquer for more clarity vs wax potted like most are. The neck pickups also come with thin nickel silver chrome plated covers not the thick brass ones which can make them sound dull. My 1950B & 1952T pickups are currently being built for me by Master winder Tom Brantley who has over 16 years experience working for another major "Boutique winder" and currently has his own custom pickup re-winding business.
These pickups have many vintage details that a lot of other winders do not offer and they are actually wound by Hand (No CNC Machine Used) These are just a few of the things that make these Black guard pickups unique and why they sound so incredible. Each set comes with mounting screws and tubing. Slotted head and Phillips screws are included for the bridge pickups. They have long color coded cloth covered lead wires.
Full, clear sounding neck pickup and fat, smooth over wound bridge pickup. This set will do anything from early R&B to 70's Rock n Roll and is a great all around set.

Bridge: Alnico 3 magnets .197" Flush pole, 43 awg plain enamel wire lightly wax potted 9.0K Black string covered bobbin, Zinc plated steel base plate, and cloth covered wire.
About the Callaham Bridge: (From the Callaham web site)
Note: This Bridge will increase sustain, volume, and eliminate unwanted feedback problems associated with the standard vintage bridge. Some use brass castings for their saddles. Ours is Made from .075 inch thick 1018 specially treated steel. This dramatically improves sustain, volume, and note separation. It eliminates unwanted feedback. There is a noticeable increase in bass response and a taming of harsh high end.
The combination of a light all nitro finished ash body, with Calaham stainless steel hardware, orange drop cap and hand wound lacquer potted pickups gives this guitar an instant classic voicing?. no plastic, plasticizers, no polymers, no polyurethane finishes and no cheap PVC wiring strangling your tone.
